Tipperary: Clonmel's Ladies Rugby Team overcame the elements and a strong Highfield side to claim the All Ireland Cup Final in Navan. After some early pressure from the opposition Clonmel's pack slowly began to dominate proceedings with the side running comfortable 21-5 winners in the end.

Kilkenny: The lads from Colaiste Mhuir in Johnstown claimed the All Ireland Vocational Individual Schools Senior Hurling Championship for the first time since 1982 with a thrilling 2 point win over Tipperary's Borrisokane at Nowlan Park. Trailing by 2 points just 20 seconds from the final whistle, corner forward Owen Warren struck with a goal that broke the hearts of the highly fancied men from the Premier County.
Waterford: Blackwater CS Waterford - All Ireland Colleges B Hurling Champions
Waterford: Blackwater CS Waterford made the trip to Ratoath Co Meath to face the highly favoured lads from St Mary's Belfast, and returned to the region's capital with the All Ireland Colleges B Hurling Title. Blackwater performed brilliantly in the first half, opening a 4 point lead which would never be bridged. The win capped an incredible 12 months for the school, they also claimed the All Ireland Camogie Title ithis year.
Carlow: Simon Doyle: All Ireland Long Jump Champion at the Indoor Track and Field Championships in Nenagh.
Simon's performance at the All Ireland Indoor Track and Field Championships in Nenagh last month will live long in the memory. The St Laurence O"Toole Athletics clubman jumped magnificently to win the Under 16 National Long Jump Title. The result didn't come as a surprise however, Simon had shown signs of delivering such a performance at the recent Leinster Indoor Championships.
