This is a Tweet Mirror. It’s the latest addition to many department stores in the UK. The idea is you take a pic of yourself in that dress you’re not sure about and tweet it or upload it to facebook and see what your friends think. It’s a great idea. But this morning I felt I had to tell the story about the time I suggested it to a friend… TWEET MIRROR.
Also this moring we heard the disappointing news that Barack Obama might not be spending as much time in Ireland as we had hoped. This was a particular blow to Mary as you’ll here… BARACK VISIT.
And the big text topic this morning was the cruel things brothers and sisters did to each other as kids. Wow, there are some pretty sadistic siblings out there! Gluing hands to faces, spitting on pillows, locking people in suitcases, or under the stairs during hide and seek, cutting sleeves off your sister’s tops, putting baby mice in shoes (where did they get the mice?!), or a pet ferret in bed but when it comes to animals, this takes some beating. One listener was actually put in a sack with a feral cat! Surely that counts as child abuse!!!
While I go away to reflect on my comparatively Walton-like upbringing, have a good Thursday and make sure to join us tomorrow for another chance to win a share of the last day’s guaranteed 1,000 euro on All Or Nothing. And we also have more Mothers Day prizes from the Showgrounds Shopping Centre in Clonmel.
Talk t’ya at 6.50!
