Christmas peeves was the topic of the morning. We wait 364 days ever year for the big day and then its all over,so what is it you find hardest to tolerate about the festive season?
For one texter it’s the death of his good mood after the Christmas dinner, listen here to see what he meant.
Some people find the repetitive songs aka ‘Fairytale of New York’ the thing that sends their nerves into over drive and others say it’s the last minute shoppers who really makes them want go bonkers!
Are the children of today just a little bit spoilt or is it moving with times to expect them to want a bit more? Today’s dilemma was from a parent who isn’t sure if buying an iphone for their 7 year old is OK.
We had a lot of texters and callers commenting on this one, some saying its way too much others saying it’s fine kids are far more advanced and need to be given the right tools.
It can be very hard for a parent to say no to their children especially if it’s within their means to provide certain luxuries. Where do you stand on this? The main feedback was that that seven is a little too young for such luxuries, “let the children be children”.
It’s a tough one but I hope this parent has found some solace in what Niall, Mary, Vinny and the listeners had to say.
More tomorrow folks!
