  • Make-up is a breeze!

Mary is a very brave woman letting the boys at her face! They didn’t do a bad job to be fair to them. Well Vinny didn’t do a bad job although I wouldn’t let him go near my face as for Niall, I wouldn’t let him loose near a box of crayons haha!

You can also view more of the pictures on Facebook just log on to the Beat Facebook page or listen here to the Podcast!

I think we should try and do it with them being timed next time, now that would be a challenge!

  • That first date smell

First dates are always a bit of a nerve-racking experience but what are some of those stories that haven’t exactly gone down as the best you have ever had!

We had a lot texters in but the one that got my attention was from Elizabeth who had some odour trouble with her date listen here to odourtastic!

Our dilemma from yesterday was from a girl whos new boyfriend was not willing to share that she had a child (from a previous relationship) with his family and by family i mean strict Dad who he also sayd isn’t well.

The feeling for this one was it’s your son and if you aren’t ashamed of having him then nobody else should be! So I hope  that helped her somewhat.

Today is the day that Niall and Vinny will attempt to put make-up on Mary’s face, pictures will be on the Beat Facebook page and there will also be a full report in the morning!

    Mor e tomorrow

  • Strawberry Fest 2012 is here!

Looking through the window you would think that we are in Spain. Only in Ireland when there is a bit of sunshine do you find that the everyone goes crazy! By crazy I mean, throw the kids in the car and lets get to the nearest beach!

Spring is here and the clocks have been put forward, I think I speak for everyone when I say “Thank God”.

The Audi A1 BeatFleet had the privilege of going to the launch on Saturday night and we got talking to a few of the acts, here is a bit of what you may or may not have missed Strawfest on BeatBreakfast.

  • I cant afford charity,I’m broke!

Charity begins at home they say but what do you do if your home is broke!

Where do you draw the line at giving? Our dilemma emailer was absolutely sick of being asked in work to donate money to various charities.

Especially because she says she doesn’t have the extra cash! She’s not against giving but it is now at the point where people are giving her looks if she only donates a Euro or Two.

Seems to me she genuinely just hasn’t got the  money to spare. So,the question is what does she do?

A really good answer to this was stick to one charity! Now don’t take this literally, you don’t have to be exclusive to any one charity. What  I do mean by this is if you have already given what you can at the start of the week/month to one then dont feel pressured to get a second mortgage on your house to give more money to a couple hundred more!(A little exaggerative but you get the idea)

If you haven’t got it you just haven’t got it! And get tough,if they start throwing  you looks because of the amount you are putting in I would seriously consider saying  “If you don’t want it I’ll give it to Tesco, at least they believe in every little helps!”

The week is coming to an end, join us again tomorrow morning for more Beat Breakfast!

  • It’s A Charity Affair

Last week we were trying to raise money for a charity by betting in Cheltenham, the winnings are in,we have made a total of €1159.57 for our charity of choice,Aware !

So it has to be said the guys are tremendously proud of themselves and the horses and jockey’s they backed!

The daily dilemma was from an atheist who has been asked to be the godfather of  his friends new born but he refused because he isn’t religious. He doesn’t think he is the appropriate person because he doesn’t believe in God and his friends are Catholics!

The reaction to this dilemma was that maybe his approach to the question of taking on the role was a little bit hasty! It was pointed out that the role of Godparent isn’t so much a religious one but more a role for guidance.

    More tomorrow folks!

  • Celeb Spotting

I’m sure everyone was delighted for the long weekend but now it’s time to get back into the swing of things!

Have you ever met any famous faces in an unusual place? With the recent influx of stars in the South East you had to see that question coming!

Most recently we had sightings of Jonathan Rhys Meyers  in Wateford and pictures flooded onto the Beat Facebook page,so today Niall wanted to know who else have you seen out and about??

Turns out their have been far more than we anticipated LISTEN HERE for some rare celeb spotting.

If you’re infatuated with someone and publicly declare your love but before you could manage a proposal you figured out that person is actually as dry as burnt toast then how do retract your statement! That was the Daily dilemma of the morning!

Shallowness is not a crime but I bet this will be a learning experience for you because next time you see a pretty face you won’t be in a rush to shout it from the hills!Get to know ‘em first! As for now if it’s not working out for you just tell her as nicely as possible “It’s not you,it’s me”

    More tomorrow,

Our MFC was also picked for today and It was Roisin from Enniscorthy she made us laugh when she shared her Wheely bin Craic.
Niall, Mary an Vinny also chatted about those famous names us ordinary folk have and although we didn’t get any Brad Pitt’s we did get a Mr. and Mrs.Smith along with Ricky Martin, Sean Connery, Pauline McGlynn, Bob Dylan,Brian Cody, Samuel Jackson and Kelly Clarkson.
Many more were sent in but here is Niall in Tipp with both his Paddy’s day memories and also his friends with famous names.
