  What’s your biggest win?

  After hearing some of the wins this morning I couldn’t help but giggle. Some people won major awards in sports and others were,em, how do I put this, a little out there but a win nonetheless.

  Here is caller Sarah with her trophy moment, Vinny certainly gave his stamp of approval with his deafening WAYHAY! Mary had a win to share as well listen here to these I won moments.

  After announcing her pregnancy to her then boyfriend our daily dilemma emailer had to face his harsh words when her babydaddy opted to drop her and his unborn child like hot bread!Now a year later she has moved on and has found a new man but guess who is back a like a bad rash,Mr. Shady!

  Yes the twist in the tale, the ex is back and wants in on the good times. Needless to say this sparked more than a few opinions and in the usual dilemma fashion I will have it all tomorrow!

• Did Enda fall asleep?

  This morning on the breakfast show Toaiseacht  Enda Kenny was under scrutiny as he was seen to be falling asleep or was he?

  The mornings paper were reporting that his eyes were in fact closed but he claims he was just deep in thought…hhmmm lets view the pics for ourself and see if he was in fact falling asleep on the job!

• Weather or not!

  The weather seems to have a bipolar personality and right now it’s going through one of the low stages. The forecast for today and the rest of the week is wind,rain and general stormy conditions.

  If you have been out and about the past few days you would understand what a shock this is for everyone because we could quiet literally have been walking around in our bikini’s and shorts and have gotten a tan!

  This then brought us on to the topic of  the weather here in Ireland and your experiences listen here.

  As for the daily dilemma some great advice was given listen here to the dilemma response. I agree with the landlord visited advice clever and a bit sneaky but at least it will get the job  done!

• Oops,mistaken identity

  Look-a-likes was the topic of conversation today. We had several callers and  texters about their mistaken identity moments.

  One caller described the moment her boyfriend did the unthinkable,when he thought it was her listen here to the Breakfast show.

  Our dilemma of the morning was from a young lady who is at her wits end trying to deal with her messy house mate, who just so happens to be one of her best friends.

  But wait the plot thickens, she feels obligated to let her stay in the house because she has been a loyal friend for so long and she is going through a recent break-up!

  She’s feeling the pressure from her housemates who is pressuring her to tell her she has to move out! How will this dilemma be dealt with? I’ll have all the info tomorrow! Ciao…

• Debs Disaster

  This morning the topic of disastrous debs came into play as we were giving one lucky or not so lucky debs attendee to do it all over again. A second chance to make the night unforgettable (Not ‘Carrie’ style).

  When I heard this the first thing that came to mind was ‘Never Been Kissed’ starring Drew Barrymore. She got to do it over again and so does a few lucky texters this week!

  We got a call from Dave who experienced his Debs disaster from the word go! The clencher had to be his mothers shirt. He deserves a pat on the back for bravery, I know a lot of people wouldn’t have bother showing up at all!

  This morning on Beat Breakfast Vinny and Mary spoke to Bressie. He talked about all things Strawfest 2012 and what it’s like being one of the judges on The Voice of Ireland. If you click on his name you can listen to the interview.

  The conversation then moved on to movies that you think are over-hyped!Those that were talked about for ages after they were released and everyone around told you it was amazing, then you watched it and you were left wondering ‘What the hell was that, was that even the same film??’

  A few said that was how they felt after Harry Potter others said Twilight and  more than a few ladies said Star Wars and of course a lot of men disagreed!

  Of course there will be more tomorrow you don’t even have to ask!

• Soap Villains

  This morning Vinny and Mary spoke about soap villains and who we would most like to see make a comeback. Listen here for what the textline and crew had to say.

  In other news Vinny fell and clipped his chin so he had to get a few stitches yesterday.He handle it rather well,no moaning or crying so in other words he had his… ‘chin up’ …forgive the bad jokes!

  The dilemma this morning was from a female who has a boyfried she has nothing in common with and she wanted to know if opposites really do attract or should she let it go now rather than wait and make things harder?

  She said she is really attracted to him and like wise, but that’s as far as it goes! I must throw in that she also said they never seem to be short on things to talk about despite all this! Mary thought she should give it a shot but some thought it would be prolonging the situation when it is inevitable they wont work out!

  This is back to the glass half full or half empty story. Have your fun and don’t be too hasty in getting rid of him! Just Go With It and stop over analysing the negative,look at all the good things you two have going on in the relationship!

  This could be an opportunity to broaden your horizons, listen to new songs, visit new places, meet new people etc,etc. See this as a good learning opportunity!

• Showing County Pride

  Apparently men carrying a weapon makes peoples judgement go crazy, according to research it makes men looking ‘bigger’. I think this one is questionable,if I saw a tiny man would I really think he was any bigger because of a weapon, hhmm?

  How important are you’re county colours to you?I’m sure you’ve seen that house maybe it’s on your street, maybe its even your house, you know the one that come county sports time it is covered in everything that matches the supported county colours!Yes that one where only the windows are visible!

  We heard some wild stories this morning for instance people banning other county colours from setting foot in the house listen here to some of the others that came in!

  I think some folks take pride to a whole new level but something has to be said for dedication,you just can’t buy that kind of commitment!

  An article over the weekend got us thinking about what compliments were good and what ones were bad and with that those backhanded compliments came flooding in.

  Niall asked the question what are those comments Irish lads say to women that aren’t necessarily of Shakespearean measures.

  Of course this wasn’t only for male comments so we most certainly got those female opinions too. One left this caller with steam piping out her ears listen hear.

• The Bad Dye Job

  The Herald reported that Baz Ashmawy is embracing the ageing process by letting himself go grey… so that brought us on to the topic of the dye job.

  As a woman I think if its a bad dye job then obviously it doesn’t look attractive on any man no matter how handsome he is and since most men will probably want to DIY it then chances are it will probably be a bad one, so I say let the silver fox roam free. Listen to what the Breaky Crew had to say on the topic here!

  As for the Daily Dilemma we had an update from the person in question and she let us know that her boss is a woman who is in her 40’s which makes it harder for her to believe her carry on!I agree with Mary’s comments on this one, its hard to not say anything when people are spreading lies about you so I suggest listening to this and take what you can from it!
