Imelda May returns with the beautiful ‘Call Me’ taken from her first album release in three years.
Produced by the legendary T-Bone Burnett, ‘Call Me’ is the first introduction to the new sound from Imelda May.
The new song sees her move away from her rockabilly roots for a more soul-oriented sound.
"I always loved the Fifties rockabilly style but there was a point where I felt I was almost dressing up as Imelda May," she said of her reinvention. "It was as if I was getting into character for a gig. And I didn’t want to do that anymore. This is me.”
