      Gardai in Waterford have arrested a man in connection with an aggravated burlary in the city. Earlier this week, 2 men dressed in black entered Madigan's Off License in Railway Square as it was closing. They demanded money from the owner and proceeded to beat both the owner and his brother.       A group of friends from Dublin have embarked on a 1,000 kilometer cycle around Ireland - taking in 20 counties over 12 days in a bid to raise over 10 grand for the Make a Wish Foundation.
