The parents of a Waterford teenage girl killed in a car crash are asking people to wear odd socks to keep her memory alive.

16 year old Katie Murphy from Ballinamona died in October when the car she was a passenger in struck a wall in Tramore.

Her father Hilary says they want to create awareness of the dangers of speeding

Her mother Vivienne says they hope that if someone asks why people are wearing odd socks it  will get the conversation going.
