An 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital in Cork after being rescued from the water at Youghal yesterday.
It's understood he fell into the water from the quay.
The Waterford-based Irish Coast Guard helicopter, Rescue117, was called to the scene, and the boy was airlifted to Cork University Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
