Celebration of Diversity Festival to take place in Carlow

A free family event, with over 20 different nationalities showcasing traditional dance, music, games, sports, food and more is set to take place in Carlow Town this weekend.

Carlow Integration Forum in association with Carlow County Development Partnership is a free family event, with over 20 different nationalities showcasing traditional dance, music, games, sports, food and much more.

Speaking to Beat 102-103, Adminstrative Assistant Clare Mullins, said: "There will be a dedicated children's area with free arts and crafts tables, face painting, henna tattooing, kids games, Rancho Reily Animals and much, much more.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to meet the diverse community of Carlow, have a family picnic in our wooded area, explore our gardens and all this wonderful free event has to offer", said Clare.

The event takes place on October 1st from 1-5pm in An Gairdin Beo, located on the grounds of St. Leo's College Carlow.
