A man in his 70s has died in a farmyard accident.
He was working under a 4 by 4 vehicle yesterday when it fell on him at his home at Ballybrenogue in Cullen.
The alarm was raised shortly after 4pm, when the man was found by a neighbour.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford.

Gardai in Tipperary town and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
