Gardaí are investigating a hijacking and assault on a delivery man in Carlow this morning.
The incident happened in the Pollerton Road/St Mary’s Park area at 2.15am.
The victim was approached by at least two men when making a delivery.
Their black Mazda saloon was found crashed nearby.

The man was treated for minor injuries.
No arrests have been made.
