Record breaking Greyhound stolen in middle of the night raid

An investigation has been launched after a record-breaking greyhound worth over 1m euro was reported stolen.

Clares Rocket was allegedly taken from the kennels owned by Irish Derby winning trainer Graham Holland in Golden, Co Tipperary.

It's thought the incident took place in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The dog, owned by a Limerick syndicate, has been trained by Holland is currently second favourite to win the English Derby.

The top-class tracker has already won the Champion Stakes and the valuable Produce Stakes.

He's won over 53,000e in prize money and is reportedly worth in excess of 1million euro
