Gardaí investigate a number of incidents in Waterford over the weekend

Gardai seek information and witnesses in relation to a number of incidents which occurred in Waterford this weekend.

There were various robberies and force of entries which happened on Morrisons Road, Paddy Brown's Road and Ursuline Court. These incidents occurred on Saturday evening between 5pm and 8.30pm.

Also on Paddy Browns Road, on Friday night at 11.30pm a man was robbed and threatened with a screwdriver by a male on a bicycle.

On Saturday Evening, Gardai received a 999 report of criminal damage by fire.

At approximately 8.30pm, a caravan went on fire on the Old Tramore Road in Waterford. One female had exited the caravan and was uninjured. The fire brigade attended, however the caravan was completely destroyed. The scene was preserved for a technical examination and investigations are ongoing.
