Ireland’s second medal has arrived at the Rio Paralympics only hours after the first.

Eoghan Clifford has clinched bronze in the Individual C3 Pursuit, winning the medal by more than a second.

Meanwhile, Nicole Turner swam a personal best time tonight to finish 5th in the final of the S6 50 metres butterfly.

Earlier, Ireland’s first medal of the 2016 Paralympic games had a familiar destination as Jason Smyth stormed home earlier in the final of the T13 100 metres.

It’s his third gold medal in the event.
