Waterford City South has the highest rate of Covid-19 in the country.
Its 14-day incidence rate is 1,482 per 100,000 people, which is just 36 ahead of the Longford local electoral area.
Two other regions in Waterford also have very high rates, with Lismore the fifth highest, and Waterford City East the sixth.
