What a year it has been for movie lovers, whether it was attending an epic cinema experience for Spider-Man: No Way Home on the big screen or just chilling out watching Don't Look Up on Netflix, 2021 will be a year to remember for the film industry.
And with awards season upon us, the Oscar nominations for 2022 have just been unveiled.
Actor/comedian Leslie Jordan and producer Tracee Ellis Ross announced the nominations for the 94th Academy Awards today.

Kerry actress Jessie Buckley has been nominated for best-supporting actress at the Oscars.
She's been given the nod for her role in The Lost Daughter.
Ciarán Hinds has been nominated in the best supporting actor category for his role in Belfast.
Kenneth Branagh's movie Belfast received seven nominations - including for Best Picture and Best Director.

The 94th Oscars will be held on March 27th, 2022 in Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
