Beyoncé plans 'secret pop-up shows' to promote new album

Great news for Beyonce fans this afternoon.

Beyonce is reportedly planning to stage a series of secret "pop-up shows" around the UK to promote the release of her highly anticipated new album.

The pop megastar is said to be gearing up to launch her first new solo record in six years. The Sun reports she wants to celebrate it with a series of "intimate" performances before launching a large-scale tour later on.

An insider close to Beyonce told The Sun: "(The promotional campaign) will focus on live experiences outside of touring, including intimate shows and pop-up performances.

“She is planning to spend a lot of time performing and promoting it in the UK, so there will be unique surprises in store for the British fans.

"People in her camp have scouted out venues for her to perform at when the music comes out and then there will be another huge tour later on."

Beyonce's new album was written during the pandemic when the singer was supposedly "desperate" to get back on stage and connect with fans.

In 2021, Sony executives hinted a new Beyonce album would be released this year. The singer has recently added more rumour fuel to the fire by removing posts from her socials.

Beyonce's last big tour was 'The Formation World Tour' back in 2016. She went out again in 2018 to perform with her husband Jay Z on his 'On The Run II Tour'.

All we can say is...hurry up, Beyonce!
