David Beckham's alleged stalker believes she's the mother of his daughter

Westminster Magistrates’ Court has heard that David Beckham's alleged stalker showed up at his daughter Harper's school in an effort to speak to her. She was there when David's wife Victoria arrived to collect their daughter.

Sharon Bell (58) believes she had her eggs "stolen" and is Harper's mother. David Beckham says he was left “frightened for the safety of his family”

Ms Bell (58) is said to be under the delusional belief that she was in a relationship with the former Manchester United footballer. She allegedly showed up to both their homes in Oxford and London in July and September of last year after she sent several letters to the homes.

Ms Bell, from Watford  pleaded not guilty to stalking in a previous court hearing. She faces trial on July 12. The court heard that she is currently in hospital where she has been sectioned as she was not at the hearing on May 12th.

Her lawyer, Lisa Wilson, said that if her client is not found by the court to be insane, she wants the Beckhams, who will be on holiday at the time of the trial, to be called as witnesses..

However, District Judge Michael Snow said the “absolutely bizarre assertion” would amount to “further harassment" of the Beckhams and was in the interests of justice that their statements be read.

The judge extended a civil interim stalking protection order until the end of the proceedings.
