Doja Cat forced to cancel appearance at Longitude following surgery

Doja Cat has been forced to cancel her summer tour, which included a performance at Ireland's Longitude festival.

The US rapper has just undergone surgery to remove an abscess from one of her tonsils.

She apologised to fans on social media, saying "I feel horrible about this but I can't wait for to heal and get back to making music".

In recent tweets the singer also said; “I’m quitting the vape for a while and hopefully I don’t crave it anymore after that,” she said before adding that the idea of throwing away her vape “just instils panic”.

She went on to say"nah im too scared to hit it cuz my throat hurts so bad. i cried for hours. its not worth it."

She continued to say; "then its like imagine all that wierd poisonous sh** in the vape seeping into the completely open wound in my throat like fuck that. im hella young."

"Throwing them away just instills panic. I'm addicted but I'm not weak. I was literally staring at my vape today that normally i'd hit a thousand times a day and hit it two times instead. I'ma try to go cold turkey for now but hopefully my brain doesn't need it at all by then."
