One of Emmerdale's long-standing characters is bidding farewell to the soap after 22 years.
Actress Elizabeth Estensen is retiring from her role as Diane Sugden.
She's already filmed her final scenes but will still be on screen for several weeks.
She's been married and widowed, worked at the helm as landlady of the Woolpack for seventeen years and even undergone treatment for cancer twice.
Fans have been praising the actress for her work:
Farewell, Elizabeth Estensen!
