After the announcement that Olly Murs and Caroline Flack would be leaving as presenters of the X-Factor after one year, a fan-favourite has been named as their successor!
Dermot O'Leary quit the show following the 2014 series after 8 years saying it was 'time to move on', however he will now rejoin the show, saying that he's 'very flattered' to be asked back, adding "I'm currently dusting off my dancing shoes!"
We certainly hope so, so we can witness scenes like this one:
Olly and Caroline filled in for him for the 2015 series, however various gaffes and falling ratings overshadowed their time as hosts.
X-Factor boss Simon Cowell has also commented on the news, saying 'Dermot's back, hooray! And so is his dancing! Welcome home, Dermot."
Also among the changes for the upcoming series of the reality talent show is the return of the room auditions, rather than the auditions in front of a live crowd.
