Kesha's Court Case Postponed Due To Weather

Singer Kesha will have to wait until February 19th as a trial date relating to her lawsuit against her producer and former mentor Dr. Luke has been postponed due to Storm Jonas. The trial was due to be begin tomorrow.

The lawsuit was filed by Kesha in October 2014. She alleges she was sexually abused by Dr. Luke. He in turn filed a counter-lawsuit claiming she was extorting him to be released from her contract. She has been unable to release new music since then, with Timber, her chart-topping duet with Pitbull, being her last release back in 2013.

The injunction hearing is due to determine whether she can be released from her contract with Sony Music. A fan account revealed a video of Kesha singing Amazing Grace in which she says “I can’t put out new music. But I can sing a little something of someone else’s songs or something that exists, so what should I sing?”
