Lady Gaga in talks over Harley Quinn role in Joker sequel

Lady Gaga is in early talks to star in the 'Joker' sequel, which is set to be a musical.

The 'House of Gucci' actress is said to be in discussions about taking on the role of Harley Quinn.

Aussie actress Margot Robbie has already portrayed the character in a number of DC films including 2021's "The Suicide Squad".

Robbie's first appearance as the character was in Suicide Squad (2016), a film by David Ayer.

It's easy to get lost in the DC world, with comic book characters getting movies left, right and centre, with The Batman featuring Robert Pattinson.

However, the film we are talking about is Joaquin Phoenix in the 2019 flick 'Joker', and this is the "universe" that Lady Gaga is expected to put on the boots of Harley Quinn.

But sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Bros. are yet to close a deal for him to star in the sequel.

We know Miss Gaga can put on a performance on the big screen, both in musicals and in dramas, making her movie debut in Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born in 2019 and 2021's House Of Gucci.

Do you think Gaga will make a good Harley Quinn?
