BBC has confirmed that former Friends star Matt LeBlanc will be one of the new hosts of Top Gear.

The 48-year-old will join Chris Evans on the new iteration of the show which will hit screens in May.

LeBlanc previously appeared as part of the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment in which he set the fastest ever lap in the Kia cee'd.

“As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter. What a thrill!” He said.
