BBC has confirmed that former Friends star Matt LeBlanc will be one of the new hosts of Top Gear.
The 48-year-old will join Chris Evans on the new iteration of the show which will hit screens in May.
LeBlanc previously appeared as part of the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment in which he set the fastest ever lap in the Kia cee'd.
“As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter. What a thrill!” He said.
Matt made subsequent Top Gear appearances, driving The Stig in a McLaren MP4-12C, testing the new Kia cee'd against the previous version and presenting Top Gear: The Races.
Additional cast members have yet to be confirmed, with female names such as Suzi Perry, Sabine Schmitz and former Williams F1 test driver Susie Wolff linked to the role.
