In October last year, Red Hot Chili Peppers announced a 32-city global tour kicking off in June 2022.
The band will return to Ireland on Wednesday, June 29th to Dublin's Marlay Park.
The 2022 tour will mark the return of guitarist and all-around cosmic musician John Frusciante to the group.
In 2019, the band posted on their social media that Josh Klinghoffer would leave the band with Frusciante taking his place.

The 2022 world tour also marks the band’s first-ever stadium tour in the U.S. Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing their career-spanning hits as well as new music from their forthcoming album.
It is not known yet when the new album is due to come out however fans have been speculating May 6th, as a website allowed fans to pre-order the untitled album with the date showing as the release.
