South East actors travel stateside for brand new Irish-American musical

11 actors from the South East are among a cast of 23 from Ireland, currently on a short tour of America, showcasing a brand new Irish-American musical called "Find Your Way Home".

The show made its American debut at the Palace Theatre in Albany New York last night, in front of an audience of nearly 2,000.

The leading male in the show is Waterford native, Andrew Holden and the ensemble also includes well known Waterford soprano Donna Roche, London based but Deise native Michael Joseph, Julie Power, Waterford City, Phoebe Dipple from Dungarvan, Michael Hayes and Elaine O’Hara from Kilkenny, David Doyle, Carlow, Wexford’s Aileen Donohue, Eoin Gleeson from Cashel, and Sinead O’Donovan from Clonmel.

The show is directed by Kilkenny based Christine Scarry and musical direction is by former Rivderance MD David Hayes who has also been MD for numerous award winning shows across the South East.

Next stop for the show is the John Hancock Theatre in Boston on Thursday before moving to New York City to perform in the Sypmphone Space off Broadway.
