South East man makes waves on the Romanian X Factor

A South East man who was born in Romania is making waves on the music scene in his home country.

Stephan Doyle grew up in county Wexford and he recently wowed the judges on X Factor Romania with his rendition of Elton John's Tiny Dancer.

He says it came about after he connected with a woman who shared his page in the country whilst working with him to locate his biological family.

Speaking to Orla Rapple on the Sunday Grill, he explained how it all happened so quickly:

"Believe it or not, the X-Factor found me, I had no intention of being on the X-Factor."

"I always want to, but they found me, they messaged me and asked me if I would like to audition in front of the judges on X-Factor Romania."

"Then it just took off from there."
