There's been a bit of a gap between new releases for SZA. In fact, her last offering was her debut LP back in 2017.
The drought has been answered though because SZA will release her long-awaited second studio album 'S.O.S' next month.
She's claimed the gap between her 2017 debut and now isn't down to 'album pressure' but simply finding the time around family life.
The singer has pointed her grandmother’s battle with Alzheimer’s and the COVID-19 pandemic have made releasing new music more challenging.
Chatting to Billboard recently, the 22-year-old star said: “I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share. But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me. I’mma take a good swing at it, and I’mma give ’em my absolute best.”
Unfortunately, an exact release date for December hasn't been announced but she has dropped the lead single 'Shirt'.
We'll watch this space for you.
