The saddest songs of all time have been revealed.
The list of "ultimate tearjerker" songs was listed after music lovers took part in a poll by Earex.
Over 2,000 took part in the poll, and to no surprise REM's "Everybody Hurts" was voted as the saddest song ever written.
Ireland's own Sinead O'Connor just missed the top spot in the list with her rendition of "Nothing Compares 2 U" coming in at number two.
Just behind the Irish singer was guitar legend Eric Clapton, with "Tears in Heaven", which is about his son who died, while the number four spot goes to the late Whitney Heuston with her classic "I Will Always Love You".
Adele, James Blunt, Coldplay and The Beatles all make the list too.
The findings by Earex found half of people believe music has a big impact on their mood while 36% find sad songs nostalgic.
On a happier note, people who took part in the poll also voted for their choice of song which made them feel joy!
Among the songs were "Don't Stop Me Know" by Queen, "Dancing Queen" by ABBA and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and The Waves.
