We can't wait to try these Waterford restaurants that won big at the Irish Restaurant Awards
Old Couch Cafe, Grow HQ, Mezze

There were a number of massive wins for Waterford last night as four restaurants and cafés from the city and county won at the Irish Restaurant Awards.

The Old Couch Café in Waterford city, which excels in relaxed fine dining, was named Munster and Ireland's Best Emerging Irish Cuisine.

A favourite of King Charles from his recent Waterford Royal visit  - Grow HQ came away with both the Munster and All-Ireland title for Best Sustainable Practices.

Tramore bagged two wins as the middle-eastern flavours of Mezze earned them the top spot in the Best World Cuisine category. Beach House, meanwhile, won Best Newcomer in Munster and Best Seafood Experience.

Elsewhere in the South East, Mount Juliet in Co. Kilkenny won Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant, The Sky & The Ground was named Pub of the Year, and the picturesque Mullichain Cafe of St, Mullins went home with the accolade of Best Café in Leinster.
