35,000 square feet of office space has been announced for Gorey in Co Wexford.

"IT Hub at M11 Gorey" is expected to be available for occupation by the end of the year, with Wexford County Council leasing a significant portion of the site.

The aim of the site is to attract IT companies to create a new tech hub for the South East.

Construction will be undertaken by local entrepreneurs Tommy and Pat Redmond.

Innovate Limited is the first person to move their workforce to the premises - their Managing Director Jim Hughes has more details about the plans.

"This is a public/private partnership project meaning a further 10,000 square foot will be taken by the local authorities as a hub for ITC startups which I'm confident that intellectual property will be developed over time."

"It will be Innovate's headquarters with a focus on creating and delivering new business ideas and ways of doing things. It will symbolise what can be achieved by successfully aligning business and society".
