Waterbabies is growing in the south east

Waterbabies is expanding in the south east and recruiting teachers in Waterford.

The company provides specialist training for instructors who teach parents how to give their babies the skills they need in the water.

Water Babies has won nine baby swimming awards in Ireland over the past six years including What’s On 4 Little Ones Best National Baby & Pre-schooler Development activity 2013, 2014, 2015 and Maternity & Infant Best Mum & Baby activity 2013 and 2014 voted for by parents across Ireland

Waterbabies has been established in the south east for four years now and teaches classes across the region.

Elaine Dunne, Director of Waterbabies Ireland - Southeast told Beat News, "Babies as young as six weeks old swim with us and they're with us until they're four to five years of age. We teach the parents to teach the babies to swim and even in their first week in the lesson we bring the babies under the water."

Water Babies is currently looking for people who are already fully qualified swimming instructors (Swim Ireland Level 1 or Irish Water Safety Level 2) and looking for a part time role.  Waterbabies provide additional specialist training for all their instructors.

Additional information about becoming an instructor is available on the Water Babies website  www.waterbabies.ie
