A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for much of Munster this morning.
The alert for Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford has been in operation since 3pm yesterday and will run until 9am this morning.
Met Eireann is forecasting heavy rain at times, which may lead to flooding.
