Appeal for volunteers to help sick children in hospitals

An appeal is being made for volunteers who would like to help children who are sick in hospitals.

Children in Hospitals Ireland are looking for people to help organise play activities for sick children, from painting, helping with jigsaws or board games to simple arts & crafts.

An Induction and Interview Evening will take place on Thursday February 25th at 6pm in the Paedeatric Resource room in University Hospital Waterford.

Volunteer Manager with CIH Aideen Jones told Beat what type of people they're looking for.
