Bagenalstown to Borris road remains closed following collision

Gardaí are dealing with a collision on the Bagenalstown to Borris road in Carlow.

The two car rear-end collision happened at approximately 4:35 pm.

Three males were taken to hospital.

One person has been airlifted to Dublin, while the two others were taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny.

Gardaí say injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road has been closed for the last hour and a half and will remain so until at least 7 pm.

Gardaí ask motorists to exercise caution on approach to the scene.
