The body of a man has been discovered on Newtown Road in Wexford Town.
The discovery was made this morning around 7:30am.
The body remains at scene and will be removed shortly to allow for a post-mortem examination to take place.
It is being reported that a man in his 60's had been sleeping rough in the area for some time.
