The body of a 12 year old girl was found tied up in a suitcase in Paris on Friday.
When the victim didn't return from school on Friday evening her parents became concerned and reported her missing - according to BFMTV.
Detectives launched an investigation after signs of a kidnapping were found in the basement of the family home.
CCTV footage then showed a woman outside the building carrying a suitcase.
The schoolgirl was missing for only a number of hours when she was allegedly found by a homeless man at the bottom of a building a few streets from where she had disappeared.
According to BFMTV, the young girl was found with a slit throat, sellotape on her mouth and mysterious numbers - "1" and "0" on her body.
Four people are currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
