The Italian Interior Minister has said: "Without any shadow of a doubt" the man shot dead by police in Milan is Anis Amri.
Reuters had reported earlier that the suspect in the Berlin market attack has been shot dead in a shootout in Milan, Italy.
There had been separate reports that police in Denmark had spotted a man matching Anis Amri's description in Aalborg.
