Gogglebox and Royle Family star Caroline Aherne has died according to her publicist.
The 52-year-old star had been battling cancer and had recently been praised for returning to voice Gogglebox despite her illness.
Her TV roles include playing Denise in BBC sitcom The Royle Family, Mrs Merton and The Fast Show.
