Clonmel soup kitchen to host Christmas dinner for people in need

The spirit of Christmas is alive and well in South Tipp.

The Clonmel Soup Kitchen will hosts its annual Christmas dinner tomorrow evening.

It was established four years when volunteers started to distribute nutritious food around the local area.

Amanda Quigly, one of the founders of the Clonmel Soup Kitchen, explains more:

"We have over twenty six volunteers now involved, from collectors to people who serve the food.

"Families are struggling and if we can just extend a hand of support to somebody who needs it, I think we get it back ten fold as people in our own right."
