Concerns raised over train timetables from Clonmel to Dublin

Concerns raised over train timetables from Clonmel to Dublin

Concerns are being raised about the train timetables from Clonmel.

At the moment there are only two trains from Clonmel to Dublin each day; one at 8:10am and the second at 5:15pm.

Calls are being made for Iarnrod Eireann to review their train timetables from Clonmel.

There's fears that the service may be cut because of the numbers of people availing of the service currently.

Councillor Siobhan Ambrose says she will be bringing the issue up with representatives from the company

"I will be appealing to those officials from Iarnrod Eireann, I will be asking them to just review the timetables, because I would be concerned obviously, not alone for the Clonmel line but for the Ballybrophy line aswell, Limerick to Waterford"

"The current figures do not reflect the actual numbers of people availing of the service"
