Cork Gardaí investigating bizarre damaged pavement incidents

Gardaí in Cork have launched an investigation after a number of footpaths were dug up in the city and replaced with flowers.

Paving was removed from four different locations over the weekend.

Cork City Council said flowers were placed in the damaged sections.

Pictures online show the bricks and slabs stacked neatly beside each location.
