Crunch talks will take place today aimed at reducing emissions in the agriculture sector.

Climate Action Minister Eamon Ryan will meet with Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue (Cona- lo(fada)g) in a bid to hammer out an agreement.

Government last year set out plans for a 22 to 30 per cent cut in the sectors emissions by 2030.

However there's disagreement between the Green Party and its coalition colleagues on what the exact figure should be.
