About €2m worth of drugs was seized at Rosslare Port yesterday evening.
The suspected cocaine was found as it was being taken off a ferry.
It was seized by Customs officers and the gardaí, and a man in his forties was arrested at the scene.
He remains in custody this morning at Wexford Garda Station, under the Drug Trafficking Act.
