Eurovision winners to tour Europe and raise money for Ukrainian army

Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra say they are planning a European tour to raise money for the Ukrainian army.

The group returned to the war torn country yesterday following Saturday night's emotional win in Turin, to continue to fight against Russia's invasion.

Frontman Oleh Psiuk told a televised news conference that the band would soon announce where they will tour.

The Kalush Orchestra group are set to make the announcement on Instagram.

They also plan to auction off the winners trophy with the proceeds going to charity.

Following their win on Saturday night, they said they were going to celebrate their success 'after the war' - but hope their victory will lift spirits back home in Ukraine.

Lead singer Oleh Psiuk says he's also confident next year's song contest will be held in a 'newly rebuilt and happy Ukraine'.
