Extra care needed on the roads this morning as heavy rain falls across the South East

Motorists across the South East are being urged to take extra care on the roads this morning.

A rainfall warning in place since 2am for the 5 counties, will continue until midnight.

Met Eireann is forecasting heavy rain which would lead to localised flooding in places.

The status yellow warning is in effect for a total of 14 counties in the southern half of the country.
