The first sailings on the new direct ferry service between Rosslare in Wexford and Dunkirk in northern France takes place today at 2pm
Shipping company DFDS is operating the service which will run six times per week - with today's sailings fully booked.
The route is one of a number set up by shipping companies in recent times to bypass Britain and new border checks set up post-Brexit.
