Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal crash in Cavan earlier this week.
A pedestrian in her 80s was struck by a car on the R165 at Bailieborough shortly after 7 o'clock last Tuesday evening.

She was taken to hospital, where she passed away from her injuries yesterday.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the road between 6:45 pm and 7:15 pm on Tuesday, especially those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
