Kilkenny priest offering confessions after Ballyragget GAA video scandal

A Kilkenny priest has offered confessions to anyone who wants to come and talk about the Ballyragget video scandal.

On the back of their intermediate hurling success, members of the Ballyragget team were pictured celebrating with strippers.

Photos and video from the incident went viral after the event on Tuesday night, and sparked an investigation by the Kilkenny County Board.

The Sunday Independent is reporting that Fr. Tommy Murphy is "not very happy" that business is up 70% for both women in question, and believes that there "is salvation at the end of this."

The priest told the paper "Of course, it’s demeaning for women – you hate to see it in any sphere, no matter who’s involved. This shouldn’t be happening at all."
